Why can my client not sell stocks without authorization?
CDSL based TPIN authorization improves
security while selling stocks.
Investors
who have not submitted a physical copy of their PoA need to authorize
their sell orders via e-DIS (Delivery Instruction Slip). It adds an
extra layer of security while selling stocks or ETFs.
Whenever the
client wants to sell anything from their Demat account, the client will need a 6
digit TPIN from CDSL. The client would have received the same on his/her mobile/email
registered in Demat account.
