Client can setup 2 types of SIPs in Equity Baskets. Manual SIP and Auto SIP.

·         Manual SIP :

On SIP setup screen, the client can enter SIP amount lesser than the minimum investment amount of the Equity Basket & the system will do the heavy lifting of creating order configaration  in a way that the client's investments finally replicate a model portfolio.

Manual SIP works on the amount entered & the system calculates stock orders to be placed in each installment. Hence orders can be for different stocks in different installments.

·         Auto SIP :

The SIP amount should be able to replicate the model portfolio. So, the minimum SIP amount that can be set is the minimum investment amount of the Equity Basket.

For regulatory reasons, clients have to give a consent for the stock & the no. of shares that are to be bought. The same stock orders are placed in each SIP installment. So each installment has to reflect the complete portfolio.
